Made from scratch soups & sauces. It comes through and delightful. I've been cooking for 20 years professionally. The Decoy comes affordable and is not average pub grub in the least. Try it out!

Great, friendly service in a cozy, slower tempo than Portland proper. Happy hour was very affordable and generous. Appetizers from the Chinese menu were delicious! We chose the potstickers, and the handmade pockets of deliciousness did not disappoint. This is our new hump day, evening commute "high five" treat for surviving until almost Friday. Props to Malia (sp), for understanding my need to carry Sriracha in my purse!

Just love the old style restaurant and food. Hamburgers are awsome.

The Decoy is a great hole-in-the-wall bar with shockingly good Chinese food. The owners are there every day cooking away, and are from China. Everything I've had there has been good, but I especially love the pizza, garlic chicken, and the Snow Goose burger. Waitresses are friendly and attentive most nights, and it feels like a home away from home.

We've been coming here for over 6 years and sadly we won't be back. They use to have the best Chinese food around, I always got the lemon chicken. The last time we were in there I sent it back because it tasted old and burnt the owner Pete came out and was insulted I sent the food back and wanted to know why so he could "do better" when I told him what was wrong with it he said I was wrong and didn't know what I was talking about he proceeded to walk back to his kitchen complaining about me and yelled at his kitchen loud enough for the whole place to hear that I was wrong and crazy he then started a fight with my fiance and still said I didn't know what I was talking about. He was treating our sweet waitress horribly too. I don't know what happened to Pete and his food but neither are the same, he insulted me and embarrassed me in front of the whole place 6 years being a local loyal customer and that's what we get?! Shame on him no wonder so many locals are going to the Lighthouse next door!
