First of all, the owners of Kung Food, Ling and Brian are super people. Always greeted with a warm and friendly smile. The food is delicious and appetizing! The customer service is ALWAYS friendly and courteous! As of today, Ling and Brian have my TOTAL SUPPORT in their Chinese Restaurant. Their menu is a menu that WAS NOT COPIED by another Chinese Restaurant.

Started a new job out in the St Johns area and was looking for a good Chinese spot. Tried this place today and though it doesn't look like much from the outside, inside pretty nice. I ordered Gen. Tso Chicken with fried rice and a spring roll to go. Service was prompt and the gentleman was very nice. Absolutely have never had brown fried rice, typical my experiences with brown rice is never been good but this was really good as was the chicken! Will definitely go here again!

The restaurant itself is nice, the food and the staff not so much. Especially the lady must be the owner. Her attitude is awful. Word of mouth is one very effective way of advertising and this restaurant will be on my do not go list.

The food is a good six out of 10. It's not the best but it's not bad either. The service was slow in the beginning. It took awhile to get menus but then it was better, I would even say excellent service. The bathrooms were horrendous. Something greasy on the floor the toilet was almost enough to make me walk out. The condiments were messy and kind of gross. All in all it won't be one of my regular spots, but if I'm craving Chinese food I would probably go back.

From start to finish the experience was legit, swift, enthusiastic and professional. The server/host was very knowledgeable about the food and establishment. I've tried this place multiple times in the past either feelings. With the new management, staffing and cooks the food and atmosphere makes this place worth the return.
