It's really as good as everyone says. Kinda a awkward loaction but we sat out on the picnic tables and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Brisket was pulled which I've never had that was but was still top notch. The photo is the 3 meat, my husband and I split it.

oh man I don’t even know how to start with this place. you really can’t go wrong. I mean okay. get the sherminator. it’s life changing. also the owner and staff are such good people. super friendly and they really know BBQ. Smoked meats, they got the seasoning down and everything. Finger licking good sauce. If you have a beard, you’re lucky. That sauce will stay with you all day!!

Not bad barbecue. Too saucy for my Texan tastes, but still pretty good. Could be better texture, and I prefer dry rub to sauce, but still not bad. Also pretty good potato salad and collard greens.

Do yourself a favor and fallow your nose to this little piece of heaven hidden in this gas station. Best bbq ever hands down.

AS far as I'm concerned, it doesn't get any better than this! Donny (Daddy D himself) is the sweetest guy you ever want to meet. And pretty much his family all works there. Everyone is so friendly, polite, greet you with a smile, thank you when you leave, even if the food was only half as good, I would probably still go there because they know how to treat people and make them feel welcome. Now for the food... the best brisket and the best ribs I have ever eaten! Not to mention that everything is smoked for many hours so its fall off the bone, melt in your mouth incredible! The collard greens are alwasy fresh and not to be beat, as well as the baked beans, cole slaw and potato salad...all homemade. My wife and I love this food so much that we had Daddy D cater our wedding! So if you are looking for the best BarBQue west of New Orleans, this is the place to go! And BTW, Daddy D's has 2 stands at the Moda center now serving fresh food anytime you go for a concert, hockey or basketball game. So be sure to stop by and get some fresh hot home cooked BarBQ! Thanks for being there and you know that you have my business for life!
