I've never had prime rib before, but we decided to go for Portland dining month. Service was great, just attentive enough. We had the prime rib, which was amazing. Then we also had the salmon, which was so nice and crispy. We started with a tasty salad and seafood appetizer, which was different, but good. Followed it up with a very light and fluffy cheesecake and chocolate cake with ice cream. Overall a good experience and I'd definitely return for the prime rib.

This place consistently serves up great food. The wait staff is friendly and attentive, and where else can you get into time machine back to authentic 70's fancy nautical decor (all original and well maintained!) Their steamer clams are delicious, and the prime rib is better than one I had at a famous Steakhouse in NYC.

I had my birthday there. I can't say enough how amazing they were to work with. The staff is so helpful. I am convinced that the staff at this place is the best. I dine here about once a month and I am always treated well. The food is good and a great value. Music is also amazing.

The live music here is always on point. Good Jazz, blues, funk and soul. Stiff drinks, good taps. Service varies depending on the night...but with great music to keep me entertained, I don't mind waiting. Definitely a must if you are a musician or love to dance!

Warning: Waste of time. My wife and I came in for the Portland Dining Month menu on a weekend evening. First, the only available tables were in the dimly lit back corner of the bar (bring a flashlight and a sweater). Secondly, the three courses took far too long to be presented, a total of 2.5 hours. We finished our drinks before the first course, about 40min. The food was quite mediocre and extremely over priced (based on portion and quality). Be sure to not order the mashed potatoes, unless lick salt bricks for fun. The whole experience was appalling and ruined our evening plans. I can't believe I was still expected to pay full price for the terrible service provided. Don't go here.
