The Kopper Kettle is a classic local tavern (unrenovated) with a friendly staff and great food. Their snapper soup is a must-have for fans of this local delicacy. Make sure to add a splash (or, several) of sherry! Rich and loaded with meat, very satisfying. I have never wasted my time getting just a cup of this soup, a bowl is the only size for me! As for the rest of the menu, you really can't go wrong. Their burgers and steak sandwiches are very good as is their seafood. I really like their flounder sandwich and their steak fries are among the best. With ample parking and, sometimes a wait, I recommend a visit to the Kopper Kettle.

The place doesn't look like much from the outside. It's cozy and not very modern inside. The food is rather amazing though. They have an awesome fried chicken and excellent fresh seafood. The bartenders are old school type and the bar seats about 12 so it's reasonably easy to get a drink and eat at the bar too if desired. It's ok to bring the kids there too. My teen boys loved it.

The Kopper Kettle is a classic watering hole that looks like time stopped somewhere around the late 1960s... I mean that in a good way, however! This vintage roadhouse offers affordable, well-prepared seafood via friendly waitresses who, if you're lucky, just might call you "hun." I'm a big fan of the fried scallops, and almost always get a cup of snapper soup to start. It's a historic, regional turtle soup served with sherry to cut the richness of the dish. Not a fan of seafood? Try the delicious fried chicken!

Little dark local bar that has great seafood at reasonable prices. The Baltimore crab cakes was all crab, grilled moist & seasoned well. The combo gave generous portions f flounder, devil crab, big meaty scallops & huge shrimp. Add to both lunches real steak fries, coleslaw & soda for under $23.
