Food was good, portion size was reasonable as was the cost. There were a surprising number of non-Asian dishes on the menu. The decor was still lovely and the service was very good. I will certainly go back.

Used to drive past this place coming home from work and thought it might be nice to take my girlfriend. We went and the food was very basic. Wasn't anything really special about the food. Sure there is some dishes that blow you away but very few. The atmosphere is just how you want it to be but the food and service do not match as much.

Excellent food. Rarely crowded these days. Good bar service.

██DANGER!!!!██ Yangming was closed by the county board of health due to millions of roaches, including cockroaches found in the food, as per Philadelphia Magazine several months ago. For proof, Google their article, "Main Line’s Yangming Closed Due to Roaches". Yangming's food has always been overhyped, rancid, reheated leftovers. But now we know that cockroaches can be an ingredient, as per the referenced article. The five star reviews are highly questionable. I wonder who actually wrote them. Be sure to read the one star reviews before entering this sewer. Or at least read their recent health inspection reports. You will be in for a shock. To add insult to injury, Yang Ming's food seriously sucks. It is old, reheated, salty shlock. Yang Ming's undeserved good reputation is maintained by owner-generated rave reviews. No sane customer would rate this garbage dump higher than one star.

This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area. I've been going for years. In fact, in the last year I think the food has gotten even more delicious; new chef maybe? The wait staff are all friendly and attentive, and the kitchen is very accommodating of special orders and substitutions where possible. I'm vegetarian, and they make a delicious off-menu "tofu with mixed vegetables in brown sauce" for me. The dining room has a pleasant ambiance, with mainly warm colors in the gold family. Music is never too loud.
