Great food and evem better staff! Stephanie was attentive and friendly. The bread and herbed butter are amazing. I had pork chop with chard and the key lime pie for dessert. Enjoyed every bite.

My wife and I just had a less than pleasant experience at Delta's Kitchen. We went there for their Valentine's Day special event. After we were seated and gave the server our order, the only time we saw her was when she brought the food. I waited almost an hour for a drink. Our water glasses were empty and never refilled. We had decided that we were only going to give a small tip for the terrible service. Normally we are generous tippers but had discussed whether or not we even wanted to leave a tip. Much to our surprise, a $30 tip was already added to our bill when we were finally able to catch the server's attention to even get our bill. We had a gift card that we wanted to use for part of the bill. I gave the server the card and enough cash to cover the bill. I told the server the exact amount of the gift card. She came back and told us the card was declined. I then paid with a credit card. I called the gift card company and they told me that the restaurant tried to run the card for more than the card amount three times so it was flagged as suspected fraud. This was an embarrassing end to a frustrating evening.

The breakfast buffet is overpriced and much of the food was cold. Grits, biscuits, eggs and potatoes all cold. Buffet was out of plates 3 times while I was there with customers waiting. Won't go back during stay at guest house hotel.

I have one word: Yay! Delta's Kitchen is the answer to the absence of a fine dining establishment in the vicinity of Elvis' Graceland. It's not too pricey, and the menu has something for everyone. Our server says their emphasis is Southern Delta cuisine and boy do they do it well. I feel safe saying they have the best crab cakes in all of Memphis. I would have appreciated blue cheese dressing for my wedge salad with blue cheese crumbles, but the ranch dressing was okay. The person sitting across from me eating the lamb chops said, "This meal is giving me life." This restaurant will only get better with time!

Friendly staff. Pricey but huge portions, hearty, delicious. Had the catfish, shrimp and grits, salad and tomato bisque soup. Soup was too thick for my tastes and wish the salad was cut, but otherwise a great experience.
