My husband and I consider this "our place". The food never disappoints, the service is fast and friendly, and the daily live music is always a treat. If you go in the evening, make sure you check out Mickey and his handmade jewelry cart. I probably have more necklaces in my wardrobe from him than from anywhere else!

Such a wonderful experience, I went for the first time to the Wednesday drum circle with some friends. Atmosphere was amazing, there is so much love and good energy in this place. Thank you for creating such a wonderful experience for people come and enjoy!

Make sure you knock! Worth the stop to this quirky joint. Food was very good especially for the price. Beer prices were moderate. Overall a good time to go have a casual bite to eat. Very trendy crowd. Don't forget you beanie cap.

This place is quite the scene. Offering a Unisex bathroom is interesting, and the concert area is also a nice touch. The dining room is gorgeous as well, all of which is tucked away in some buildings of downtown Houston. The people who visit here are awesome, and the alcohol they serve is nice. The price was expensive, but I guess it might be a city thing.

I loved The Last Concert Cafe. It was different from the time we approached the front door and had to knock to be let in. Once inside, I was amazed at the retro San Antonio theme. The bar was made of glass bricks and the people seemed to match. The first thing we heard as we entered the front door was a mournful voice singing in Spanish. He sounded drunk and I couldn't see him to verify the situation. My daughter said he was probably singing for his supper. I couldn't see the stage from the inside. Our waiter was prompt both at taking our order and delivering our meal. I learned from my grandson prompt service isn't always the norm. Their Mexican food was outstanding Tex-Mex but on the expensive side. My only complaint was their bathroom. I had to walk out the door and cross a small patio and enter another building to get there. The bathrooms we're on one side sitting in the same area as the diners. Luckily there were no diners that evening. That absolutely, positively was not acceptable to me. I can't believe the health department hadn't made them correct that arrangement. I probably won't go back until it is rectified.
