This is my favorite local restaurant for brisket, sausage and chicken. Cannot tell you much about the sides, I don't eat them. I come often for about 1/4 lb brisket plain for my lunch, that's all I need. The brisket is done just right. If you got dry meat or you thought it was too fatty then you need to learn how to order your brisket! There are too sides to a brisket and one is lean and the other is marbled full of fat. You ask for the side you prefer. Ask for "moist" or "lean". Go enjoy your meats!

Looked delicious. But was like eating paint on a can. BBQ sauce was just canned tomato sauce. mac n cheese....canned with water, green beans canned with onions chopped in it. everything tasted like metal or so dry it was like licking the poor cow. That cow died in vain. the brisket was so dry it looked like it was cooked in the desert. so sad. cuz it looked awesome. pic to follow

Great meat and sauce. Everything you would expect from a good Texas barbecue restaurant. I’m from Georgia and love barbecue, so I visit a lot of these. This is some of the best I’ve had in Texas. My favorite was the sauce; slightly tomatoey and sweet. Not spicy, and did not overpower the flavorful, smoky brisket. Sausage was mild but tasty. Their bread appears to be homemade, not prepackaged Wonder Bread like you find in a lot of BBQ places. The fried okra was crispy yet not over cooked, although lacked flavor. The green beans were also a bit bland. If you like sweet tea, they have the good stuff. Just the right strength, and almost sweet enough to pour over pancakes. Pecan pie tasted fresh and delicious. Would definitely come back if passing nearby.

Typical Texas BBQ joint. Cafeteria style. Very polite staff. Tasty food. If you're in the area, give it a try!
