I don't know if the negative reviews helped but I really I enjoyed my meal. I ordered the buffet but changed my order to just soup & salad bar. I only changed it because I got full from the salad and soup. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food looked all fresh. Nothing looked like it had been sitting out.

Hello everyone, Once again I find myself leaving a negative review which is very unpleasant, normally I prefer to rate people top ratings however if I did that I wouldn't be honest. Though the food was delicious (I did not order the all you can eat), and the reason I did not order the all you can eat is because when I looked over I didn't really see anything that screamed "Fresh" but hey its all you can eat so what do you expect? Ordering from the menu is my preference, which I hope some of you may head however by the time my plate came out I had finished my drink, and as I waited I noticed nobody really cared or looked around to make sure the customers drinks were filled. This was unpleasant, after almost 25 minutes of sitting I just got up to ask (which to me is definitely a star down) As I made my way to find someone so I can finally start my meal, the door opened to where the cooks were and they beyond were laughing about one of there fellow employees. This was another star down, I think that the reason work environment is awful is because they cause so much strain on employees by bullying (these are grown men! why would they do this) Anyways finally after finding a employee they gladly offered me to refill my cup, and it wasn't the right drink they didn't ask me what drink I had so I thought they knew. The fresh food (I hope) was the most pleasant part, however I cannot help but feel bad for your employees. Normally I do leave a tip in my review however "You can't teach old dogs new tricks."

2 is being nice. It doesn't really deserve even that. The bar is not being tended to and the staff is cutting up, being loud, and laughing in the back. The mashed potatoes look so dried out you could play baseball with them and the beans on the "taco-like bar have been there for at least 3 to 4 hrs; they have turned gray. I would take photos to show but I don't want to get yelled at or worse for taking photos of the buffet. So just spoke to the waitress and voiced my concern. She took my concerns to a manager who had her to return to my table and inform me that she had been trying to get her staff to maintain the bar but tfhey are too lazy to do it and that she will be having a meeting with the GM soon to talk about her employees. Also she is comping my meal. This wasn't about getting a free very old meal that quite possibly is going to make me ill. I ate a little bit, while waiting, I thought for fresh food to be brought out. (I kind of feel sick already.) I just wanted myself and other guests to get the quality dinner they deserve for the price. Ordinarily, Country Pride is my husband and my favorite restaurant to visit on the road, as it is the one sit down meal each week that we allow ourselves as we drive east to west coast and vice versa. While this is not our usual experience with Country Pride, it is still very alarming that employees are leaving food on the bar that could have the potential to make someone very sick and not changing out the food regularly. I hope that someone can take the actions to correct these issues soon and that my husband and I can return to this location in the future and be able to report a pleasant experience instead of another failure. Thank you for taking the time to read this review. P.S. I did find the waitress very friendly and apologetic.
