Highly recommend. While we we sitting in the bar, we noticed the bartender/waitress, Melanie, learning sign language from a hearing impaired customer. She said that she has been trying to learn sign language so she could communicate with her customer on a more personal level. It was very moving to see. The service was great, food was great, and my drink never went dry before I got a new one. This is now our go to place when trying to decide where to eat. Chris, another bartender, is also awesome. Very busy when we were there and still got what we needed very fast. They both have great personalities and are great at what they do.

We went into Chili’s at lunchtime around 11:45, so I acknowledge that we’re there during the busiest lunch hours. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly, but very forgetful. We ordered our drinks. I ordered a cocktail and a bottle of water, my husband ordered a glass of wine, and my brother in law ordered a glass of water and a margarita. She delivered everything except my bottle of water and my brother in law’s margarita. We gave her a few minutes, we eventually had to remind her. It took us a few minutes to decide what we wanted to eat, but it was about 20 minutes before she ever came back and took our order. As I’m looking around the bar area, I’m noticing how spread thin she is during the busiest lunch hours. I do not if they are under staffed or if she’s not a strong enough server to handle that many tables at once. Either way management needs to address hat issue. My husband ordered the unlimited chips/salsa/soup and salad. When he ordered his second bowl of soup, he also ordered more salsa and guess what? He never got his refill of salsa. As I mentioned earlier, she was super sweet, but she was a bit forgetful. I believe this is the only Chili’s in Lubbock and we like Chili’s, so I’ll definitely be back, but if management doesn’t improve the staffing situation, we won’t continue to eat at Chili’s.

Have had mostly good experiences here. Food is wonderful & drink menu is terrific! Only downside we have encountered was that the hostess(s) have not been present/available upon arrival. This has happened repeatedly but may be due to staff turnover or some other valid reason (?) But if you are looking for a variety of great food in a casual atmosphere, Chili's is perfect.

I haven't eaten here in a long time and wasn't going to eat here it was very busy and the wait was going to b 30 minutes or longer. But the hostess got us seated in less than 5 minutes. How ever I have to say that our waitress made the whole night. She was very friendly and sweet has could b, hell she even order some candies from my son for his choir trip, so if u decide that u want good food and great service go to Chili's and ask for Micaela she is the best.

I've had excellent experiences every time I've been here. The servers are always nice and attentive. On my last visit, we ordered two veggie burgers and one of them ended up being a regular burger when my mom bit into it. The server and manager went above and beyond to fix the issue and gave us a veggie burger to go without us asking them to and the manager also took it off the bill. I would highly recommend this location!
