Most of the time I have a great experience here. Servers are generally attentive and very nice. The food is great compared to other Italian spots in Lubbock. They do tend to make food with a little too much oil but other than that I highly recommend checking this place out. The hostesses are very nice also!

Friday evening with 9 people, not a time to expect everything to go correctly but the wait was reasonable and the service prompt. Nice experience. And enough food to take out leftovers from 7 of 9 meals.

We love Johnny Carino's spicy marinara!! It's a great place to eat with family or with a friend. We love the family night! Dining-in is WAY better than carry out between 4:30 and 5. Although their food is amazing, my carryout sat on the counter for 15 minutes while I waited for them to get another person's order (which wasn't quite ready yet)... consequently, my spaghetti was pretty dry by the time I got home. I can only assume that there are not enough people on duty to get the orders out at that time. We do love Johnny Carino's food.

It was nice & clean. Waitress Misty was great. Food took a while too get too us. When it did the chicken was cold. Salad and bread was very yummies. Nachos needed more cheese. 03/02/2018 Emily was our server she was very friendly and helpful & quick.

I arrived more than one hour before they closed. There were only three other tables in there. It took 40 minutes to get our salads. Our waitress was terrible. She never refilled my water, the pepper was empty, and had to ask for anything we got. She was too busy doing her side work. Gave us a ticket before she asked if we wanted dessert. We told her we did want dessert and she asked if we wanted it TO GO and we said no! It took 10 minutes to get our dessert with two tables left in there. After that we were so upset we felt like we were in no hurry to leave even though it was closing time by then so we took our time and leisurely enjoyed our dessert. This absolutely was the worst experience we have ever had there.
