For the record... I rarely write reviews but this one needs to be written.... The service here was TERRIBLE! We arrived here with a few families after a day at the Science Centre. The place had maybe a dozen people seated at tables in a mostly empty restaurant. The host seated us all together at a few booths and then never came back... No one came actually... Seriously... We waited for 15 minutes with no menus, no server, no drinks, no nothing... Finally, we went to the host and asked about the delay... She said, "Oh, the server for that section is late. She's not here yet." So while the servers that were there served other tables, we were left waiting... Why would they not tell us that when they seated us?!?!? After waiting another 5 minutes, our young children were so hungry that we had to leave and go find another restaurant to eat at... Incredibly unprofessional! Not at all what I expected from a Swiss Chalet as we have always had great experiences at other Swiss Chalets in the past... 0 Stars!

We were not served. We understand that a waiter can be late for a shift. Mistakes happen. But there were plenty of staff with few customers, and we were completely and intentionally ignored. I’ve never experienced such poor service from a restaurant staff. No greetings, no apologies when we asked why a waiter never arrived at our table. Bizarre. We enjoyed excellent food service at Popeyes next door.

Ordered wings the other night. Some were no bigger than medium sized but others were as small as my pinky finger... I thought to myself, 'Swiss Chalet you can't be serious'. The size was just insulting for the money they were charging.

There were little black fruit flies (I hope) all over the women's bathroom. My 4 year old had a meltdown trying to pee. The service was ok, one error on the hamburger, hardly any cheese on the Ceasar salad, but other than that ok. The bathroom kinda grossed me out, and after fighting with my 4 year old about flues on her toilet I kinda list my appetite.

No matter what I order they will always screw something up. It’s not complex it’s literally no seasoning on the porgies. I go to a different location or not here at all
