very unique, and amazing dining experience. The kitchen is at the front of the restaurant, allowing for the truest 'open concept' kitchen I have ever seen. Really adds to atmosphere. Very nicely decorated, and beyond comfortable. The food was amazing, our waiter helped us with ordering, and suggested the timing of the meal in order for us to get the most out of it. The duck is a must, so so good.

My family and I visited Montgomery's last night for my brother's birthday dinner and it was a wonderful and memorable meal. We were so impressed with the warm and efficient service. Everyone we came into contact with was lovely. The meal was incredible. We opted for the sharing menu and it did not disappoint! The pacing was perfect and the meal told the perfect story of local, Canadiana, well-executed food. We don't go out often as we genuinely enjoy cooking for each other and when we do, we want it to be a meal that we either could not or would not make at home. This fit the bill. We will definitely be back and I can't wait to visit again! Thanks for a great meal!

I really enjoyed my meal at Montgomery’s. We had a cheese plate, duck, steak, salad and desserts — and everything was delicious. My favourite was the steak and the apple buttermilk ice cream. The owners were friendly and the service was on point. I would definitely recommend Montgomery’s.

What a unique spot. Enjoyed dinner here on Friday. You walk in and the kitchen is right there - you can observe the chefs at work. Staff take your coat and lead you to the dining area in the back, which is warmly lit by candlelight. Our server was very attentive and took good care of us - the service was excellent. We ordered the bread and churned butter, salad, mushrooms, trout and squid dishes - all creatively executed, beautifully presented and quite delicious. Come here to discover new flavors and execution, and leave inspired! Thanks, Montgomery’s!

Cool, funky Queen West(west) restaurant serving delicious, well executed unpretentious food and drink. Small plate/sharing format and nice cozy room. Service was friendly and professional. I'll be back. 100% recommended.
