I am absolutely in love with this place. My boyfriend surprised me by taking me here last Thursday and everything was so great. when walking in to the venue, it had such an intimate vibe. Very welcoming and the art work in there is amazing. You really feel that New Orleans Bourbon Vibe. The food was so tasty. the blackened Lamb was so tender and that creole flavour was superb. We had a waitress by the name of Jade which made us feel so comfortable and explained the menu to us in such knowledge which was awesome. Out of 10, Jade gets a 10. I believe we have found our new spot. We will be visiting again very shorty. I Highly recommend this restaurant!!

I went here for a first date with someone I met online. I picked it by googling "Southern food Toronto " and it was the first result. It was risky, but it paid off completely. I arrived early and was greeted by who I can only assume was my guardian angel, my server, Mark. I would wrote an Ode to Mark were I a more creative person. I found out later it was only his third shift as a server at Southern Accent. How? he was incredible. He recommended our drinks, they were great, he recommend our appetizer, the calamari which was delicious and we trusted him so much by the end of it, we asked him to choose our main courses. He chose the blackened lamb and jambalaya. They were perfect. The blackened lamb is the best lamb I have ever had in my life. I have to say this place was phenomenal but the service is really what put it over the top. I am going to create an App for Mark to make all of my life decisions from now on, because God knows it would be better than any choice I would make. Come for the food, stay for the service!

My partner and I found this gem after walking by it a few times. And THANK GOODNESS we did. It’s my favorite brunch spot. Plus Thursdays we come for those jerk chicken wings and bourbon sours that are to DIE for. Thank you for the amazing food and spectacular service ❤️ I am a fan.

I would give 5 stars to this place. I was walking on College looking for a place to eat and came in to Southern Accent. The restaurant is very cozy. Nice and cool atmosphere. Romantic table sets. Food: Healthy made with quality ingredients. Wine: Portuguese red wine was very good. Price: Good prices.

Excellent service and fabulous food. The decor is also lovely and adds to the dining experience. The calamari is aptly described in the menu as best in the city and I'd be hard pressed to find a competitor for that title! Definitely recommend Southern Accent for any occasion.
