Visited on a Monday evening late April 2018. The restaurant at this location is now called Myoungdong Chammat Kalguksu and it is a Korean restaurant with menu ordering, not AYCE sushi. It focuses on noodle and dumpling soups and has other familiar Korean dishes such as bibimbap and bossam, etc I had the mool naengmyun and mandu guk. A little pot of garlicky kimchi is included. Other side dishes come with certain main dishes. Both main dishes were fine and the dumplings in the mandu guk are very large. I like the interior style of the place (fantastic transformation into a modern esthetic by renovation) and service was quick and businesslike. The parking lot had ample space in it. Give it a try if you like Korean food.

I've been there several times, and most times had an ok experience. The previous time I went (and last time I will be going there) the waiters were rude and disrespectful to my entire group. At some points during the meal, we would be waiting 20-40 minutes for another plate of food, and the restaurant wasn't even full. A one hour lunch became a 3 hours snooze fest because of all the waiting. Halfway through our meal, some of our group had to leave to run errands, came back and still didn't have their food. They would give us wrong orders and then blame us for ordering the wrong thing. Also, they wouldn't give us the full number of plates we ordered, which is fine since it is AYCE, so we would just order more. BUT, when we would order more of the same plate, they yelled at us for making multiple orders of the same plate, when the only reason we had to do that was because they KEPT giving us smaller portions than what we asked. First, they yelled at us when it was their fault. Second, you can't call yourself AYCE, and then yell at a customer for ordering too much food. Despite the fact that their food was not terrible, I will never be going back to this restaurant, when there are at least 3 other sushi places within a 5-10 km radius that would serve more food and have nicer staff (one of which is Aji sai, 5 minutes from this restaurant). Edit: the restaurant this review was about has since closed (thankfully). Not sure about the current restaurant this review is attached to for some reason

Ceiling was leaking. Average or low quality food. Food portion reduced and they do not give out a bowl of rice anymore.

As far as Korean food goes, this place is sub-par. They don't give any side dishes except for a giant crock-pot of warm kimchi (very unrefreshing). You can never finish the kimchi and it seems like they re-use it between customers. Would definitely go for an alternative Korean restaurant instead.

Visited Feb 2018, no longer a sushi place. Any posted picture or review from old should be deemed historical. New Korean restaurant not all-u-can eat either.
