Khyber Pass is an Afghan restaurant located in one of Montreal's trendiest spots Le Plateau. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, it looks like a cave! The ambiance was great looked like a lot of people from different age groups come here to eat. It is also BYOB! The food was fabulous! A lot of vegetarian options and lots of meat eaters. I had the vegetarian plate with the Borani aubergine and pumpkin. The food was very tasty. Not spicy at all. If you enjoy Indian food it's very similar. Staff were so kind and attentive. My table accidentally ordered three extra vegetarian plates and they omitted automatically considering how many we were! Not only that I applaud them for their excellent service as they were serving a group of 15. 5/5 would recommend!

Wow! Amazing food. A must-go restaurant in Montreal. Some of the tastiest good you'll ever taste. You'll want to come back. Try the samosas and the entrées platter; they're scrumptious! Also the best eggplant I've ever tasted.

First Afghan cuisine experience, enjoyed thoroughly! I enjoy spicy food so was disappointed that the Afghan's dont spice things up as much as in Pakistan and India, however lack of heat spice was made up by the flavours of all the herbs and spices they used. Had a lamb and rice dish with an eggplant app. Servings were perfect size and well presented. Recommend to try it out!
