Some of the best sushi I've ever had. Super high quality. One Interesting thing about the sashimi is the fish being served only slightly cool. Normally you expect the fish being stored really cold. The slightly cool temperature allows so much more flavor to come through and leads to a greater enjoyment. And since the quality is so high, I have never gotten sick from bad fish. Highly recommend

Took a large party to Katsuya. The food is very delicious - especially the super soft steak, the seaweed salad, and the salmon. The drinks are well created also. The whole meal inclusive for 8 people was about $750, so you should expect to spend $70-$90/head. One issue with the venue was the understaffing. The food came out very quickly and sporadically; however, there was one lady taking care of half the restaurant. It's not her fault at all, but she was assigned to 10+ tables, which included 50+ people. As a result, you get your drinks slowly, refills slower, and the experience is shot. For over $100 gratuity, I'd expect a bit faster service. Again, this is no fault of the waitress as she hauled ass, but the restaurant needs to increase their staff, especially during dinner rushes prior to shows. I'll go again at some point as I really like the food, but will refrain from hosting a client event here.

This place is indeed one of the best places in LA or the Hollywood area if you want to get technical. There is absolutely no self parking you'll be lucky to ever find a parking spot on the street but they have valet parking now the food is really amazing. You will definitely feel satisfied and be glad that you took the decision of dining here don't be surprised if you run into any celebrity while eating in there. I seen Taylor Swift twice now the portions are not that big but they do makeup for it and taste. Only negative thing I have to say is that they serve Foe gras which I am absolutely against it's terrible. Yes it is pricey but this isn't just any sushi spot. You'll love it. Katsuya rules.

Excellent sushi and ambience. My husband and I went on the Sunday one evening and it was not crowded, which was a major plus. We had two or three orders of tuna rolls and a few other items. We spent a total of $80, which some may consider expensive for sushi. But in my opinion, I would rather pay more money knowing I am getting top-quality when consuming raw food.

Great sushi and great wagyu steak. We were disappointed of the amount of food in the tasting menu. We had to order extra rolls to be completely happy. Minus one star for that. Regardless of this its very nice food here, worth a visit!
