I went here for dessert on a double date. I was with my girlfriend and a friend of ours, Tom, was on a blind date. After dinner Tom recommended dessert at this location. I didn't know at the time that it was nothing more than a small lounge/restaurant/bar on the fourth floor of a Holliday Inn, but that's all it is. Dessert was decent but definitely not worth the price. The place was near empty when we arrived at about 930pm on a Thursday and more empty when we left about an hour later. The only reason Tom tom brought us here, I realized almost immediately, was due to its auspicious proximity to rooms with beds for rent. He was hoping to get lucky. That is about the only good reason one choose to come here unless of course you're staying in the hotel. Even then, there are far superior options not far away...

Excellent find. We didn't know where to eat and "settled" on Trappers....glad we did. Everything was better than expected. Drinks were nice, service was solid, and the food was dynamite. The hot rock steak thing is less of a gimmick than it sounds, try it!

Excellent place, great views, cook your own steak on the hot rock is cool, pretty romantic, get here about once a year. Service is exceptional and always attentive. Good variety of wine (although not my thing) and variety of bar drinks. The beer list leaves a little to much out (more my thing) but there are a few worth it. Expect to spend a few bucks here as they are a "fancy" steakhouse with that great view

This was the first time dining at Trappers Chop House and I have to say that the food was amazing but the service needs big improvement I would definitely recommend dining here

Trappers Chop House is by far the best date place in Parker. They have great views, a cozy and classy environment, paired with good food. If it’s you’re first time here you should check out the lava stones. You can cook steak, ahi, and a number of other meats to the perfect temperature right at the table. It’s not just a novelty either, the food is really good. The service is usually pretty good here but sometimes they can be a bit slow. They also have a good wine selection and half price bottles of wine on Sundays.
