A very family friendly and clean atmosphere. I went here originally to try out the surrounding area local restaurants after moving in the area, and found that Gators Dockside Oakleaf was worth going to. The servers are courteous and fast, I haven't had to wait on food for more than 10 minutes after ordering. Not only is the food good, but they have trivia night on Thursday and the host is kind and the night moves smoothly throughout. I would recommend this restaurant to a family or to even just a single person.

The food was really good but tonight i went with 3 friends and NONE of us got our drinks refilled, we were there for like an hour or 2 and we had 1 drink and that was the original drink brought to the table, i had to flag down the host boy to bring me a drink and even after he went and told our waiter we needed drinks AND we were ready to go he still took another 30 minutes to get to us AND WE STILL GOT NO DRINKS!!!! Let me also add that the restaurant was not busy, his area was near the outside door on the left when you walk in and there was 3 tables and one man outside. Extremely disappointed. (Update) May 6, 2018. I really appreciate the owner responding to my review but i did call up there yesterday to see if i could get a coupon to give to my friend who paid for the whole meal and gave a generous tip to the waiter that didn’t deserve it due to the service so i asked for a manager (it sounded like a female) and askers about getting my friend a coupon and she told me that if the owner already apologized i didn’t need anything additional and i needed to stop trying to find a way to get free food. I have never been spoken to so bad in my entire life, i couldn’t believe it

Food was good and server was nice and knowledgeable. But our waitress basically went on break and was eating chips after we got our appetizers. We waited too long at a not so busy time. It was quite a while until we got our food or any refills. It was only after my wife motion for her to come back over. Also my wife's burger came with hair stuck on her cheese as well as it being dry. Fries also taste like they had just been sitting for a while. By the time her new order arrive everyone else was done eating.

Gators is a great place for two things. Football with good priced alcohol and Tuesday night kids eat free with the purchase of an adult meal. We went just yesterday and was seated in a timely manner and the hostess was polite. The waitresses were both nice and polite as well. It’s not the cleanest place around as it has old carpet and wooden booths. When we sat down the table was just wiped down and wet, so my wife pulled out a antibacterial wipe and did it again. It was pretty disgusting. The area were the towels sit was brown and gross. Crumbs and dust liked it hasn’t been cleaned for weeks. The food it self was basic American and acceptable.

New to Florida decided to check out Gators dockside today. The bartender, Ashley, was funny and informative about the area and even convinced us to try actual gator tail! Not too bad! Wings were great and cold beer. What's not to Love?
