We started out with drinks. The martini glasses were the smallest I have ever seen. $9 for 3 sips. The food came and the white rice was not cooked. Crunchy rice is not good. The Cajun dish I ordered was so hot spicy after a couple ot my mouth was on fire. Over all for what we ordered the prices were a joke. We will never be back. There are a lot better places in town to eat at.

Great atmosphere. Great menu. Great service. Why 4 stars? Consistency of food presentation has been an issue in my last 5-6 visits. I am here often for business/personal meals and execution during the week is not the same like it is on the weekends. Just my two cents. First visit should include some sushi and their snickers dessert cake!

Very nice location. Loved the interior design. Didn't like our table, I hate a booth for 6 people - entrapment! Service was excellent. Not the best Poke bowl I've ever had. No one complained. No one raved. I'd consider giving it another try, maybe.

Stopped in to Kona Grill for a quick bite to find out it was happy hour. This was my first time at this restaurant and the happy hour menu had a good selection of appetizers and sushi as well as drinks. The appetizers and sushi looked to be almost full size and more than worth the price. The server was extremely knowledgeable about the fish and what drinks paired with certain sushi.

This was the worst experience I've ever had there. I've been to Kona on many occasions. I was VERY disappointed this time around. There was only one bartender. He was expected to make the drinks for the entire restaurant, as well as serve everyone seated at the bar AND our large group of 18! We were not aware of this at first, after waiting for quite a while for a server, we flagged down two separate servers to ask when we could expect a server, and were told "I'll look into it". When in reality all they had to do was tell us it was the bartender! He clearly was not able to manage the volume placed on him (no fault of his own). Rather than any of the other servers who were there with not many tables to work (as there was another large party there which was buffet style, no servers being utilized for anything other than drink orders) and there were only 8 other tables inside the restaurant with seated patrons. After being there for 2 hours and eating NOTHING and being served drinks extremely slowly, we finally walked next door to Bulla and enjoyed good service and great tapas. I'm sorry for the bartender as he had unrealistic expectations placed upon him. We will definitely not be having any further large functions hosted at Kona which is disappointing as we typically enjoy this local place.
