Great food! Honestly there is no better Japanese restaurant better in Orlando, FL. I took my son here for his birthday and we were told the wait was up to 30 minutes. 2 minutes later we were called to our table. The food is prepared in front of you by a private chef who cooks a very entertaining meal. My son and I enjoyed our food and I had so much that I took the remaining meal home. My favorite is the Samurai dinner which includes Filet Mignon and Shrimp. Very delicious!

I was kind of surprised that this location did not seem as organized as I would have thought. Another thing that was strange to me was the chef did not seem to have much training in making the patrons get excited. Don't get me wrong the chef that came to the table was really nice but not a show man that you expect when going to Benihana. The food was fresh and cooked well. One of the spots that we went to had a leak from the heavy rain at the time. Another one had napkins that were stacked all over it and appeared to be a folding table for them instead of a revenue location for them to cook food and entertain people. We had to find the server on a couple occasions to ask for additional drink which was kind of a bummer also.

Good food. Make a reservation. It's just easier. Very busy because it is good. Great service. A little pricey.

Was a little concerned with some of the negative reviews on here about the restaurant but we booked a party of 10 for a Saturday night and had an absolute blast there. Yes, it's an extremely busy location so even with a reservation it looks like you can count on an extra 15-20 minute wait on a busy night while they consolidate groups for tables. Other than the slight delay at the start, we loved every bit of this experience. The chef was very entertaining and the food was delicious. Pound for pound I think it's better value than Kobe Steakhouse, but the two are very similar and there are little things you'll probably like at one versus the other, and vice versa. Overall a really good spot for dinner, especially if you're celebrating something with the family!

I wish I could comment on the quality of the food, but we didn't get to try it. Our experience reminded me of an episode from Seinfeld. The host told us it would take a few minutes to get a table and even though the restaurant didn't seem busy, we waited and waited and waited. 15 min later my husband asked how soon we could get seated. The host, who was chatting with his coworkers the whole time, told us again that it would be just a few minutes. We continued waiting. 10 min later I approached the host and asked how long the wait was. The host replied that it was going to be another moment and then turned to his coworker and started complaining to her about me. We ended up eating at a different restaurant.
