Where to start... the seating was awful. As a couple looking for a romantic evening we were squished into the family section. There were plenty of tables for 2 with water views open but we were placed between 2 large families. The ambiance was chaotic and loud. The prices are very high. Really no options for under 60 once you realized everything is a la carte. That would be fine if the food was amazing but it wasn't. It was mediocre. Finally our server was so bad I was upset my fiance left a $5 tip.

Great place! Went in to get out of the rain and ended up very happy. Food and service (Joyce) were excellent. Crab boil and crab fries could not have been better. Will go again when in the area. Pricey, but portions are large and splitting a meal makes for plenty of food and a very reasonable price. Try it.....you'll like it.

Grossly overpriced for food served. I had the crispy shrimp which was served with fries and slaw. The shrimp were frozen variety, served with Luke warm limp fries and room temp slaw. The slaw had no flavor- just carrots and purple cabbage mixed with mayo... My daughter had the shrimp pasta. The pasta was had little taste but she did enjoy the shrimp. My other daughter had chicken tenders (standard fare) and my husband clam chowder soup Overall, you’d be better choosing a different eatery for the price paid. The atmosphere is great. Service is slow and lackluster at best.

Terrible experience for my family and I. We were a family of 6 with a 3 year old and they sat us in a very high traffic area and were unable to accommodate otherwise. The service continued to be poor throughout and the food was sub-par and overpriced. I recommend going to Boathouse instead which is nearby- we always have a lovely meal there.

Ok people here it goes. What I had for dinner was the house bread with cinnamon butter, a bowl of clam chowder, snow crab with red potatoes and corn on the cob, and some water. Pros-they didn't mess up the crab, thank the Lord, and the corn and water were both great. Not to mention my waiter, while overloaded, did a good job for me. Those are the only reasons this review is at two stars. Cons-The bread. If you are going to bring it to the table first make sure it's warm and soft. Mine was the opposite as evident by the lack of any melt of my cinnamon butter. I need to say that cinnamon butter is a loose term for what I had. It was more like yellow whipped lard with a little cinnamon. The recipe is not that hard (salted whipped butter, cinnamon, and some kind of sweetener (honey, sugar, something). That butter could have bridge the gap on the bread but instead it added to the bad first impression. Then came the soup. I have made clam chowder. Bought the clams, cleaned them, put them in a pot with water and white wine and seasoning, stained the stock after they opened, gathered the clam meat, cut the potatoes and put it all together with some cream at the end. The soup I had tonight was pork fat chowder with a little bit of clam. In fact, I could hardly find the clam and couldn't taste clam at all. Now the main course, which was good except for the potatoes. Some were black on the outside, white on the inside. (Don't know how that happens but it didn't look good). Fortunately, my waiter was Johnny on the spot and bought me some new potatoes. It's not his fault that they weren't cooked in seasoned water, drizzled with clarified butter or grease and served. Nice and shiny with no flavor. Now here of the good part. The cost for this magical experience was $64 dollars and some change including tip. A meal I could have made for roughly $23, given the quality of the soup and bread. I don't think the environment was worth what I paid. You guys need to do better. I don't mind paying when it's worth the cost.
