I Ordered a Family pack to go. Got the brisket and pork, hot Waffle fries, Mac and cheese, and baked potato casserole, half rolls and half cornbread. It was all delicious, brisket was the best! The tea also tasted much better than before. We had the baked beans and okra last time. The baked beans need a touch more flavor. This is the fourth time getting to go and it seems that the staff is more familiar with the menu and portion sizes are better. They are more organized and are getting past those opening glitches. Very excited to have Dickey’s in Lutz! Will certainly be back.

Like another reviewer, we were looking forward to eating here. Not sure why, but they were filling large cups with single-serving sides so you felt cheated with half-empty bowls. The meat was good, but having a flat soda ruined the experience. When we informed one of the teens working that the soda was flat she twirled her hair in her fingers and said "still?". Ordered a yeast roll that failed to rise (flat and dense). When asked for butter, we were told they didn't have any. So yeast rolls or cornbread offered and no butter? The manager was seen sitting in the back of the kitchen shooting the breeze with the many teenagers working. We left extremely disappointed.

The food is great, the service is great, and the atmosphere is fun and easygoing. The only negative thing I have to say is that this location doesn't have a changing station in either of the bathrooms.

We came here on a Saturday while it was raining, so not sure if that initially kept crowds away, but the place was empty. Friendly staff, but a pain to order. The menu is spread out across the top so you are crab walking to figure out your order. We both ordered pull pork. The meat was ok, but there was a lot of fat, which made the experience unpleasant. We had mac and cheese for a side which was surprisingly good. The cornbread was pretty good, but no butter was offered. The bbq sauces were ok. Only found one that I liked, which I believe was their sweet one. Overall, I think the place has potential given some time to get it together. Suggest changing the menu to an easier ordering configuration, get a little more generous on the portions, and don't cut the meat where so much fat is in the cut.

When we walked in I was expecting this place to be just as good as the one on Bruce B Downs near wiregrass mall....boy was I wrong!!! The meat portions were extremely skimpy. For my side's, I ordered potatoe salad and they gave me a small "ice cream" scoop of it that barely fill half the cup/bowl. I also ordered bbq beans and the only filled the cup half way. There was only one fork left in the basket and my husband gave it to me and he asked the many teenagers working behind the counter for more forks and then he sat down again and started to eat with a spoon waiting for them to bring some more out. Halfway through his food, I could stand seeing him eat meat with a spoon, so I went back up and asked again for forks.....no one knew where the forks were. Finally one girl found a random box of forks and I got one for him. Ice machine did not work either. I am so disappointed and won't be back.
