In my opinion, my family likes eating here. One time, we went here the seats were broken and the seats were so low that you could barely eat comfortably. But then, everything changed. We went here a couple weeks ago and the seats got fixed and know there is a lot of cushioning that helps you sit properly. Also, the whole place got brighter with the new lights and the friendly staff. The service is okay:) My mother just doesn't like the way the green tea tastes because it tastes like hot water. I like the sushi they have here, and now they came out with kid's menues. I would want to come here again:)

After the massive Hepatitis outbreak on Oahu caused by Genki’s scallops a couple years back, it seemed like they were trying really hard to regain the public trust. We ate here many times during that period and really enjoyed the food and service..... BUT, those times seem to have gone away. Back to Genki’s for first time in a while. Took close to a half hour for our order to come out, after asking 3 separate people and watching the family sitting across from us (who sat down 10 minutes after us) get their order in 5 minutes. When it came out the noodles were cold from being left sitting for probably the entire time. Since everyone has let the Hepatitis outbreak fade from memory, looks like Genki’s has let them self slide back into laziness again in customer service.... What will slide next? Step it up guys!

Poor customer service. My daughter and I decided to have lunch there today and no staff greeted us. It wasn't busy and there were seats/booths to sit at. The girl asked the gentleman next to us if he needed help, but not ask us. I didn't like the fact that she ASSumed we were in his party of "3". Later a couple came in after us and the staff greeted them and took their order. After standing behind them, the staff still didn't acknowlege us. A group of girls came in later and they were also acknowledged, while we got ignored. So after feeling totally ignored, we left and wrote this review. Word of advise Genki Sushi....ALWAYS acknowledge EVERY customer. ASK questions instead of ASSuming.

Not really impressed with the food here. Everything is cheaply done and it kinda has a McDonald’s feel to it but if your looking for a quick cheap roll it’s better than buying them at a gas station lol
