I’m from LA, I eat sushi ALL the time. Then this Chinese waitress comes and makes me feels like I do not know what I’m doing. In the end she ends up asking for a 40% tip, I wouldn’t have minded giving her 100 dollar tip. But if you gonna ask for it, after you been ride to me, that’s a big no no. I’ve noticed that from these people that think Hawaii is part of Asia still. Get over it homies, we love it here and we ain’t going nowhere. Another Pearl Harbor incident perhaps. Come on, try to take it back. America all the way baby. AMERICA#1, rest of the work deal with it.

nabeyaki udon was excellent. It was so good I had to go back again and eat it again.

I asked for a menu and was refused. I had to order from what was in front of me on a little ad plaquard. In the end I was price shocked. The service was awful. I got ignored for bigger parties.

We arrived today at 1:42 pm for lunch. The on-line Information listed lunch until 2:00 pm, the sign on the door listed lunch until 1:45 pm. With minutes to spare, we made it just in time, there were 5 of us and we were hungry. My mother-in-law frequents this restaurant and we have been there before. There were only 2 tables with guests dining. The waitress said “we’re closed”. I pointed out that it was not yet 1:45 and that the on-line Information listed 2:00 pm and we were looking forward to lunch. She said no, you’ll have to go somewhere else. I will not go back. We went to Arirang Bar-B-Q across the parking lot where we were greeted warmly and enjoyed a delicious lunch!
