I'm a sushi novice, but enjoy exploring new flavors. My wife had a meeting for diner so I went by myself and sat at the sushi bar. The chefs were all very nice and helpful in suggesting different bites. They were patient and taught my how to judge the quality and experience level of a sushi chef. I will be back during this trip. In the past, other places have looked down on me for not being "knowing" sushi, this place was the exact opposite. Dropped one star because it is expensive - but then again isn't everything in Hilton Village?

The boiling soup plate was amazing and enough for 2 people or small family of 3. Great sushi, awesome customer service and very much a tourist restaurant although as locals, we would choose this place over other Japanese restaurants in the area Miki is an excellent hostess and we enjoyed our conversation and dinner service with her.

Good Japanese restaurant with good food and really good service. What amazed me was although we were during the rush lunch hours and the place was busy we got the attention we needed and food was served on time. Our green tea was replenished on time. Little pricy on the menu but what do you expect if the restaurant is in Hilton campus. So overall based on location, quality of food and service i would say this is value for money. Will i go back again - hmm not may be.

Bad odor in restaurant, disorganized waitstaff with long wait after already having been seated. Ordered chicken dish with half being grossly undercooked and other portion being dry and tough. Another in group ordered sukiyaki, but was told that they were out of it, then they brought some out to other tables that came after us.

I read the other posts and I think most of them were spot on. Although I didn't see anything about a 15% auto tip on the bill (I went alone), I did notice they didn't break out the individual sushi items and just wrote "Sushi Ala" as in a-la-carte with one price. So if you didn't take note of what it cost when you ordered, well, you hope it was added correctly. I was placed upstairs and there was some big groups. Nothing unexpected for a Saturday night with families and kids. The food was good and fresh and the staff was nice for a sushi spot. Traditional Japanese place with Japanese employees. Oh, as far as the price... well, you are in the Hilton. Did you expect something less?
