Really disappointed. Waitress was lovely but entrees and mains all came out together and were cold and dry. Blamed it on a large function being held, but no other table around us seemed rushed. If the kitchen can't cope with a large group then close the main dining room. We have never written a google review before but for the prices charged we expected much more. Never experienced this anywhere else. My partner, who never leaves a morsel behind, refused to eat it. It was recommended to us, but won't be going back. Sad end to an otherwise brilliant Hawaiian trip.

My mom and I had dinner here last night and have now added Kirin to our list of restaurants we will come back to on our annual Hawaii vacation!! The service was friendly and very attentitive. The staff were able to suggest just the right amount of food so we didn't over order The two stand out dishes we had were the Mongolian beef and the fresh lobster cooked in supreme broth Very authentic in flavour!!!great value for money , I would highly recommend Kirin to anyone looking for traditional Chinese food in Waikiki :)

A winsome, polyglot staff with a menu mixing aspects of Northern and Southern Chinese cuisine. Steps from several Waikiki hotels, and well equipped to accommodate large parties.

This is the second time I go here and I can say that I enjoyed this restaurant’s food this time as well! The staff is very friendly and helpful. But it is different than the regular mainland Chinese food! A little more authentic :) In conclusion, I would come here again!

I loved this place. Sure, it's not the most fancy place, but we loved the dim sum menu. We traveled all over the world from Amsterdam to this place and Kirin was probably some of the best food we had in Hawaii!
