This is a GREAT spot for breakfast. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly, service is fast, and food is pretty good. I've only had breakfast here, but I'm confident non breakfast meals hit the spot. Always see people there when I stop by. Parking can be tricky depending on when you go...no lot, just street parking (gotta feed a meter). It's also cash only...only reason I didn't drop that 5th star. There is an ATM on site though.

I love this place. They have the best french toast and sausage. President Obama has a meal named after him because he frequents this breakfast place. They serve dinner to and have large great biscuits. This place is cafeteria styled.

Excellent food, quick service, homey atmosphere. I went there for brunch on Sunday, and it was packed - but in a good way. I paid $6.95 for an omelette with all the toppings, and it came with toast AND grits.

true Hyde Park classic. it is a diner styled like a cafeteria where you get a tray and order a few different things. their breakfast food in particular is unbelievably good.
