This little gem is pretty close to my apartment and I have enjoyed every experience - both dine-in and delivery - I've had with Roots. Their pizzas are so great, with lots of great apps and salads, and their rotating craft beer selection is top notch. They offer a plethora of toppings to choose from if you decide to build a custom pizza. Delivery is fast, pizza arrived hot and delicious. Great spot that I'll continue to frequent for many years to come.

Great place. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. The food is really good too. And big. A salad and hand-tossed 12 inch pizza is plenty for two people. Extensive beer list too.

I always love coming here. It's a great restaurant with good food, a great beer selection, and friendly staff. I would highly recommend the cheese sticks for an appetizer. They are massive but the breading isn't heavy. Also try it with buffalo sauce if you're feeling crazy. (It's amazing) I will say though...don't go here if you are looking for "Chicago style pizza". They don't do it. (I'm not saying thats a bad thing...just a fair warning) They do "quad city" style. The crust is a little nutty, and the slices are cut into long strips so everybody gets crust.

If you're wondering "is this an OK place to bring young kids?" then I'd recommend Saturdays around opening time. They give your kiddo the standard coloring page/kids menu as well as a lump of dough to play with, which is unique and fun for your preschooler but (being real dough) dries hard on the skin - bring wipes. Kids menu itself is pretty standard fare; you can also share a pizza with them though the Midwestern crust can be hard for little ones to gnaw through. All in all a decent place for a kid-parent "date" though not the cheapest and there are far too many televisions everywhere. They do have a little area where they can go to the back and watch in the kitchen but the people working in the kitchen certainly don't relish this feature and didn't care to make it interesting when someone was watching or even offer a smile, which I understand. For adults later in the evening the mozza sticks of course are legendary but again the TVs everywhere sort of set the tone. Not everybody wants to watch sports from every angle while dining. Nonetheless, it's worth a try.

Great pizza. Great salad. Great beer selection. That make a very good Old Fashion as well. I'm from the QC, where this type of pizza is common, & its so awesome to have it blocks away like when I was a kid.
