Recommended by a friend. Scallops cooked perfect. Flat iron steak was cooked as ordered with a favorable seasoning. Very friendly staff and excellent service. The restaurant was surprisingly empty for a Friday evening. A great option if you want to avoid lines at trending spots.

My husband chose Penumbra for my 30th birthday dinner based on the reviews and we were NOT disappointed. It's a small and unassuming restaurant front and when we entered, we were met with a huge group of people participating in the free wine tasting. We were led to the back of the restaurant which opened up into a beautiful and dimly lit room with curtains and cabanas and dining tables. They start you off with complimentary soup and we shared the crab cake appetizer which was delicious. I got the New York steak entree and my husband got the pork, both of which were delicious! We finished off with the coconut flan which was thick and creamy and amazing!! Our server Sebastian was excellent and prompt. He drew a rose with chocolate sauce and wrote happy birthday on our dessert plate. We met the owner and she was so sweet and nice. We loved our visit and we definitely will be back!

Found by accident. Great surprise! Unassuming entrance a bit hard to see sign outside. Once inside opens up to back room with excellent decor. Really excellent service. Good was amazing. Went with a large group and everything was to perfection. A must try. Great little private dining areas for couples with long flowing curtains. Will definitely visit again. Nice addition to Logan swuare

Lovely place, with a very intimate feel. Perfect for a date night. Each table for 2 (called "cabanas" by the hostess) is surrounded by a thin veil, which is nice and provides a bit of privacy. The flat iron steak and accompanying salad were delicious. Potatoes were ok.
