Fantastic place to eat if you don't mind a wait. Delicious locally sourced food and drinks, excellent wait staff, and reasonable prices make Homegrown a very popular breakfast/lunch spot. Once that food is in front of you though... The warm flavor and obvious care that goes into each dish justifies every minute you spent restlessly tapping your watch. Also, I didn't know orange juice could taste that good.

UPDATE (5/17/18) Customer service done right! The people at the table next to me had something wrong with their food. Not only did the server immediately notify the manager and kitchen, but the manager came to their table, personally apologized to the customer and took care of her bill - promptly. She also gave them a complimentary meal for a future visit. That is how you handle it. Kudos to the HomeGrown management. (April 2018) Excellent food, excellent service! Would recommend this delightful spot to everyone! 😋

Home Grown is a rare treat for Wichita. More so because it located in west Wichita. Home Grown is committed to locally sourced high quality ingredients. I went there yesterday and ordered the “It Takes Two” that consisted of two scrambled eggs, fire grilled ham, and two pancakes. Their commitment to excellence is evident. I made the mistake of ordering the peanut butter chocolate chip pancakes with peanut butter glaze. The mistake was thinking it was just a single pancake and not the three that showed up. Outstanding! I managed to get most of it down. Washed it all down with their amazing tequila sunrise mimosa, which I am now trying to duplicate. Home Grown will get a lot of repeat business.

HomeGrown is one of those places you've always wanted to find. Excellent atmosphere in a bright, cheery and immaculately clean space. The service is friendly and attentive. The menu features several locally-sourced items, and there are gluten-free options. Tasty choices abound. Definitely a Wichita gem - and locally owned to boot!

I always look forward to breakfast dates at HomeGrown. My brother and sister go on a weekly basis as part of their routine and we tag along every so often. This is a Wichita/surrounding area sourced business. From the fork you eat with to the glass you drink from, it all is sourced in town. I love that this is a Wichita Proud business. If you are looking for light menu options they have plenty and if you like to eat a more hearty breakfast they have some phenomenal options to pick from.
