Been to this restaurant many times, however it seems to next to impossible to reach anyone to make a reservation. Called for days to have a party of 22 people for dinner. Online reservations will not let you book a party of this many people. Left a message on the Oak Room phone voice mail and no one called back. We are from Indiana and decided for a business to operate with no one to answer phones seemed like they just don't care. Thus we don't care about the Oak Room. We booked our party at the Oceanair seafood restaurant in Indianapolis and they were happy to have us. Furthermore, we would never even think of going back to eat at the Oak Room. The treatment of customers really is appalling. They don't even have the time of day to answer the phone during business hours or return phone calls.

I went there for my birthday, from the moment I walked to the until I left the staff took there time to make me feel special. The food OMG it's the best here in KY. That's a huge compliment given that my mom is a chef. And my ex husband is a chef also. It has become my go to place. If you haven't been you're messing out. They pay attention to every single details. Not only did the food tasted great it looked great also.

We love staying here, it is elegant, great location, nice rooms. We had the penthouse suite once; it was fantastic, very beautiful and historic.

Very unprofessional. We show up to celebrate our friends 50th birthday and apparently they don't honor open table or yelp so needless to say we were very disappointed no one even tried to help. Just as I was asking to speak to a manager, another group was just leaving because the service was so bad.. The hostess was trying to deal with all the complaints but nothing was resolved. The Manager never showed his face.. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone very unprofessional.
