Cheeseburgers and tiny fries were great!! Some of the best I've had in quite a while!! Turtle Sundae was a little short on the chocolate fudge and caramel sauces and I personally didn't care for the overly salty pecan pieces in it. Definitely would go back for more burgers and fries but would probably stick with a hot fudge Sundae for me and something extravagant and fruit filled for hubby.

The food is great. I bought a double steak burger with cheese, the best tasting fast food burger I have eaten in a long time. The only problem is, Freddy' s is in Gonzalez, LA. Wish it was closer to my home. I live about 1hr and 35 minutes away. Keep up the efficient service and very clean dinning area. I will definitely be back. See you soon. Signed Full and satisfied

I just had my second visit to the Gonzales location . The first was during the Grand Opening, so I gave them a pass on the burnt burger, but tonight I am beyond done with them. For my $6.22 ( no drink) I got a burger that not only was so over cooked, dry and burnt around the edges, but you could without much effort read a newspaper through it. At the thickest part (middle) was about 1/4 inch thick. But I did receive a boat load of French 🍟. I could have purchased a whole pack of meat for that price. So done with Freddy's, will go back to ole reliable places. PS: DID I SAY HOW BAD YOUR FOOD IS. Just saying.

I was very disappointed. I went through the drive thru and ordered two meals, each consisting of a double cheeseburger with bacon, fries and a drink. The fries were really good (I've had better and they were lukewarm) and the drinks were just drinks. However, the burgers left a great deal to be desired. On each burger was a whole albeit thin meat patty and a HALF of a meat patty that was either the top or bottom of another normal meat patty...NOT TWO WHOLE MEAT PATTIES. There were two thin little strips of precooked cold bacon and one undersized slice of cheese. The bun didn't wow me and neither did the young guy who leaned as far out the window as he possibly could to hand me my bag of food while looking down my blouse and calling me baby with an unsettling and uncomfortable I wanna have sex with you tone in his voice. Needless to say, I waited till AFTER we drove off to point this out to my boyfriend sitting in the passenger seat. That wouldn't have ended well otherwise. #NEVERGOINGBACK

The food is meh, not the worst meal I have had. The pickles were thicker than the meat on my burger, but when I tasted the meat alone it did have a good flavor. The fried pickles left A LOT to be desired, they had too much batter and they were flavorless. The fry dipping sauce was delish and the staff is friendly and really nice. I won't frequent Freddy's too often but if we need to grab something quick and close it would do in a pinch.
