Kona Grill is always good. I don't think I can recall a bad experience here. Our waitress seemed to be new or just simply nervous. She tried to make conversation but her voice was so low I couldn't understand her. Also she would appear and just stand at the table. I don't like that. All is everything okay and keep it moving, especially if we're talking. While I appreciate that she brought over another soda she seemed offended that I didn't take it. Well I barely finished the first so I didn't want another.....sorry.

This last visit was a bit disappointing. I was there with a group for happy hour. We did not receive much attention from the waitstaff as we are used to and we had to remind them of our drink orders. Our waiter apologized and informed me that the copper mule mugs we're being washed because they ran out. For whatever crazy reason, the calamari batter has changed and now it's too salty and spicy. That used to be my favorite appetizer. The butter cake is still hard and dry. It used to be delicious. Oh well. I guess my group needs to find a new spot for special occasions.

Good service. My guest and I enjoyed our meals. She had the chicken and veggies stir fry. I had the glazed salmon with fried rice - yummy! I almost always have the salmon here. I also had the tomato bisque as an app, which was tasty but a tad salty (perhaps it was the parmesan).

Food is delicious, especially the sushi!! A beautiful, modern restaurant. Good drinks. All a little pricey but most of it reasonable for what you get. Great date night or place to relax before or after a game. Only gave it 4 stars because the lunch service is very slow which can be a problem when you're on a timed lunch break.

Lovely atmosphere and staff. Our food was really late, but the server kept communicating with us and comped us some items without having to ask. When the food finally arrived, it was delicious and worth the wait. They were down a sushi chef and it was peak dinning time, so I can't blame them for the wait. I appreciated the open communication, and they got my toddler's meal out right away.
