When we arrived we were promptly seated, and that's where the positives end. After sitting at the table for 10-15 minutes, it became evident that we had been overlooked (this was highlighted by the fact that the people sitting next to us, who had shown up later, had already gotten their drinks and put in their food order). After getting the waitress's attention, and letting her know that we hadn't put in our order yet, she asked me who had seated us. The insinuation was that I had sat myself down without waiting for anyone to seat my daughter and I. When I pointed out the person at the front she told me "well, he didn't tell me you were sitting here." She then went over and checked with the guy. It reeked of passing the buck. Despite that, the meal and experience could have been salvaged.
At the point our food came out, we had been sitting there close to an hour. In hindsight, I should have left after speaking with the server. Once the meal was plopped on our table, we didn't see the server again, despite the fact I had asked for a drink refill. But at that point, I didn't feel like asking her again, I simply wanted to eat my food and leave.
Based on other reviews this was more a calamity of errors more so than a consistant issue. However, that doesn't change the fact it was a truly irritating experience. Next time I want to eat in the area, I will go to any number of other available choices.
