I have a mixed impression of Traffic Jam. They’ve been there a long time now, and have some great food options. They present themselves as more of a family dining type restaurant, meaning it’s not fancy, but it’s also not quite informal. The food is definitely prepared from scratch or close to it. It tastes consistently good, and in some cases great. It does however take some time for it to come out. The food has always been hot on serving or as expected when I have gone. I recommend checking out their specials as they add some cool things there. One thing I note is their menu is really underwhelming in that it doesn’t really change, and after you’ve been there a few times it gets kinda bland. The food is pricier than normal as one would expect for homemade entrees. The atmosphere of the place is great and lends itself to a not too brightly lit, friendly and intimate place. The beer they brew is not more than pretty good, but consistent in that taste. The deserts are great, the homemade a chocolate cheesecake with chocolate coffee ice cream, and it’s amazing. Definitely try it if you can. The staff is generally pretty nice. All-in-all I like the place, it’s just not quite at that 5-Star blow you out of the water level, but it deserves it’s place as a recommended spot to go. Be prepared to spend some if you go.

This is a unique restaurant in Midtown area that reminds me of an older American style restaurant. The interior is dark with much wood paneling and the walls are decorated with various signs and other artifacts. Aside from the decor, the food is actually quite nice. They have teas made from local ingredients and often have newer specials to choose from as well with items like salmon, thai noodle salads, etc. They also have a lot of classics to choose from.

Great food and service. They have excellent area's for group party's. Food is eclectic and fun. In house (across the street really) brewery and ice cream made on site that is to die for. Guarded parking right across from the front door. They even have their own roof top garden you can not get a fresher herbs and greens than that.

Just yesterday a couple coworkers and I all went and enjoyed the production of Les Miserables at the fisher. Prior to our outing we enjoyed dinner and desert at the Traffic Jam & snug. The food was fantastic, the wait staff was charismatic and personable, but how scorned did all of us feel after conversing with our server the entire time about the show and our seats and how excited we all were, to arrive at the Fisher, receive our programs and find a HALF page advertisement for the traffic jam and snug offering all patrons who mention the fisher 15% off their visit. Our experience went from being fun and new to feeling taken advantage of in one advertisement.

Yummy! I love the meatloaf. My friend had the reverse chicken pot pie. Food was very tasty. Drinks were good- not watered down. Server was attentive.
