I placed an order via the McDonald's app at your store in Waverly, NE tonight for the very first time. I was excited about using the app and the $3 discount that came with it. When I arrived to pickup my order, the assistant manager was extremely rude, and after complaining about how much she hates the online ordering system, she charged my debit card more than the total I had already paid on the app using ApplePay. She refused to give me any of the food I had ordered, and was uninterested in my concern that I had been charged twice. I told her that complaining about the online ordering system in front of a customer, who had just used it for the first time, and who will NEVER be using it again, was not representing the company well. She told me she doesn't care because "it sucks so whatever." She also told me to "mention her name" (Tawny) when I complained to the general manager, Kelly. I have never experienced such awful customer service in my entire life. I can tell you with a 100% guarantee that I will NEVER return to that store or any other McDonald's as far as I can help it. I’m very disappointed to see such a successful company operating with such poor management. I understand that this happens pretty often, and that people tend to complain just to complain (AKA=get free meals), but I promise that is not my intent. My intent is to bring this to your attention so that you will do better. Her actions don't only reflect poorly on that store - they reflect poorly on your company. I hope that something can be done about her behavior so that other customers do not have to experience the same type of "customer service" I received.
