This is our favorite BBQ place in LV. Growing up in the south there are a few requirements when it comes to meeting high quality marks and they hot almost all of them (burnt ends are good, but not like the south). It's not quite the same as in the south, but it's the closest you will find around here... Baby back ribs fall of the bone, brisket is tender, pulled pork is juicy and the sweet tea is delicious. Mac and cheese is good but it's not macaroni pie. Banana pudding is best thing on the desert menu for the record, but it won't match grandma's version. Restaurant is always clean and service is good, but can be a bit show when at capacity.

Love this place! Wonderful Mother's Day meal! The biscuits are amazing! Order the Fried Green Tomatoes... always a must when we go. Also, try the Peach Lemonade. Service is always friendly and they bring you hot towels at the end. Great place for family, friends, and celebrations.

I worked here for a short time and quit due to awful management. When you support this establishment you support the mistreatment of employees. They have no problem talking down to us in a rude tone and treating us like we are dispensable. The worst part is they know they can get away with treating us this way because if we stand up for ourselves it’s considered “talking back” and we’d get reprimanded. The turn over rate here is ridiculously high; they hired 15 people for training TWICE and only a few people made it through each time. Most of them quit midway or just stopped showing up... I wonder why? On top of that, as a server we get to try all the food in training and I can confidently say the barbecue is comically overpriced considering the average quality and stingy portions(great mac and cheese, banana pudding and coleslaw though- just giving credit where it’s due). Despite their in house smoker, a lot of the meats lack flavor and has a dry texture, which they hide by dousing it in sauce. You can easily find better barbecue for a fraction of the price plus better service. Instead of three mediocre ribs for over 20$ you can get a full rack and then some!

The marketing department did a real number with their language. "Lunch Specials: 9 Items under $10!" NOTE: These are the "items": Half-Size Salads, Mac n Cheese, Potatoes, Fried Pickles, etc. The real price indicator is the $15 cheeseburger. '' 'Nuff said!?" How about $7.50 for 2 sodas? I have no issue paying these prices if I am expecting it up front. However, going in expecting "under $10 lunch", I felt extremely disappointed and duped. All the best, Phil
