Recent operator change has revitalized the offerings here. Quality is quite good, the sauces used have distinctive flavors (not the one brown-sauce fits all). I'm particularly impressed by the Kung Pao, they cook the red peppers to a slight burn to release hidden smokeyness and some general heat to the dish (a strong and worthy medium-hot).

The food is great, but the service was the worst I've experienced. We went in, and I guess the kitchen was backed up, and we got water served in styrofoam cups - which, were never refilled. We had to get up and find our own water pitcher for more. We also had to get our own to-go containers and chop sticks and spoons - we were only given forks, which were put in a lump in the middle of the table, and one of our party had a soup. We had to ask for place settings, napkins were thrown on the table (paper ones, not the cloth ones we saw on other tables). Our food came out in spurts with at least 1/2 hour between the time the first person at the table was served and the last. Then, the best part, when we went to pay the bill and our waitress saw the 11% tip and asked why. Then pointed to the suggested tip amount of 20% and threw the receipt down on the counter and glared at my husband. Love the food but do take-out and save yourself the anger.

The food is always delicious. The owner is always working as a waitress and she is absolutely terrible. She should stay away from the customer. She’s a wicked witch. They’re lucky the food is good!

I’m giving this review knowing that they were having a rough day. It’s Christmas Day. The food was pretty good, but the timing was awful. There were five of us and the meals came out one by one. There didn’t seem to be anyone trying to make us comfortable- bring us water, anything. If I’m close by I will give it another shot, but I won’t go out of my way.
