My second or third time to this location. Pretty good time to come, cause not much of a wait. Maybe 5 other tables were full. But my first glance for a table, was all the empty tables were dirty. Not impressed at all. As I sat and cleaned my own table off and ate.. no attempts to clean up the tables that were dirty. In the whole 20minutes of being in the restaurant.

Burgers were super thin I guess that's why they are doubles but the fries are what disappointed me the most. I felt like I was at a kiddie burger joint with petite fries and petite burgers. It was cool to watch them makes the ice cream sandwichs. And I feel like as slow as they were they could have the booths cleaned and ready for as many staff as there was as well as the manager standing talking to others. A welcoming smile would have been nice but felt a bit intimidated.

Nice burger joint. This West Side location isn't as good as the one on Coors and Alameda but it still does not disappoint. A family of 5 can eat relatively cheap if your creative with the combos. The California or Bacon burger is good, chicken strips okay and grilled chicken sandwich is sub par (a little rubbery). The Frozen Custard is very good. Kids love their fries and fry sauce. Chile fries are good as well.

The burgers are wafer thin and the shoestring fries are not much thicker than a shoestring, but, Oh my, are they good! You should probably order a single for kids, but a double for adults. I think that's the #1 combo, which is the most popular order. I could try to describe them, but you'll never know until you try them for yourself. I'll bet Freddy's becomes one of your favorite burger joints AND I have not even mentioned the frozen custard treats to choose from.

The food is delicious!! I especially liked the the Oreo ice cream sandwich. The number 1 is my personal favorite.
