Stopped to stay at a nearby hotel, got in late, saw this place was open until midnight. "Great!" I thought. Was greeted by a manager who informed me that they were closed. I asked if he was joking, he said no, and showed me that his watch read 12:07. I looked at my phone, and showed him it was 11:18. He then walked to a computer, and I assume saw that the time was, in fact, 11:18. He then proceeds to ask the waitress what time it was. So after that I said forget it, he obviously doesn't want my business and I went elsewhere.

The waiter that we had was wonderful but they forgot about our orders and we didn't get our food until he came to give us the check and we told him we didn't have food yet. It took quite a while to get the food and when we finally got it, there was a hair in one of the meals. The table next to us also had a hair in theirs. The bacon was also thin and greasy but that could have just been me. Overall, the waiter was great and the food was okay other than the hair.

Had the chicken fried steak. The gravy was so salty! My dining partner had the chili bowl Turns out it was a bowl of bland beans. Very disappointed in the food there. I'm giving it one star because the pie was good. Go there for the pie, but nothing else.

Great location to eat, my family and I usually eat here to get our breakfast fix and that’s what’s best about Village Inn the all day full menu selection. The manager here is also very helpful, attentive and courteous. I always get great customer service every time I eat here 👍
