Almost $17 for shoe leather where pork chops should have been and no applesauce. Surprised they actually decided not to remake the dinner. This was tonight’s takeout. Waste of money. Barely edible. Too late to take it back and start over after driving all the way home. I almost never write a bad review either, FYI.

Typical Greek fare. Food & service was good. Went on a Friday for lunch. Had salmon on a salad which I enjoyed. Friend had an omelette that looked excellent. Other friend got a hamburger. Nothing special. Burger was from frozen.

My boyfriend and I called Mythos on 3/2/18 at 9:25 PM to ask what time their kitchen closed (on their website it says that it closes at 11:00 PM but we didn't want to drive out there and find out that they closed). The female server, who was very rude, said, "10:30 (pause for silence) um no 10:00 PM." I replied with, "I thought the restaurant closed at 11:00 PM," rude server, in a very rude tone of voice said, "Yeah.... I mean, well you can just come here now then." Me and my boyfriend decided against it because she made it seem as if we were really inconveniencing her at that moment by wanting to try out Mythos restaurant. I understand if business is slow and you want to leave but you should not be planning when to leave when you have people calling wanting to come and basically telling them that they need to come soon, especially on a Friday night on Elmwood Avenue. I have worked in a few restaurants here in Buffalo and this was just not the way to handle the situation. If she had nicely said we have had a really slow night and planned on closing a little sooner, then out of courtesy we probably would not have eaten there. But she just had to be rude. I know they have good reviews so I was excited about trying it but she just turned me away from trying Mythos all together.

Do try the homemade vegeburgers here. The ambiance is great and the wait staff is helpful. We eat here once a year, when in town for the Buffalo Garden walk. The food is tasty and the price is right. Don't expect fancy, but do expect a few Greek options and food the owners are proud of. Alas, the coffee is merely adequate.
