Prepare yourself, the portions are huge. It's basically one order to split to 4 persons. It's very fresh, high quality, but not very exciting. The service is very nice, and quick, really quick. Here's a tip: make sure you reserve a table, but if you didn't the wait is usually not long Another tip: they like doing birthday surprises. Let them know if it's a birthday occasion.

This restaurant has been on my list for a few years and I finally made! I regret not coming sooner. EVERYTHING was good. The food, the staff, the ambiance, the drinks. I was not disappointed. And to be honest some find this place pricey, but for amount of food served, I found it decently priced. If you like Italian, you'll love Carmines

Some of the best Italian dining I have ever experienced. I have been visiting and dining at this place since I was a little boy with my family. Now I go with my wife and family. The service is great, the bar is phenomenal, the food is the largest portions without having to go up to City Island, authentic Pasta and perhaps the best steak I have ever had in the Porterhouse Contadina meal. It is served with potatoes, peppers and sausage with the Porterhouse steak, and might be potentially the only thing needed to order, because it is that much of a meal. Portions serve more than one to two people, so when ordering keep in mind that it is meant to feed at least four people, and when you divide that in price, you're getting more than your money's worth. Five star Italian food at Carmine's. My favorite restaurant. And don't skip on the Italian Cheesecake made with Ricotta cheese.

This was a big group meal 35+ people. We ate in the private room to the side which accommodates up to 40. We had three staff dedicated to the room and they did a great job serving and distributing food. Everything was served family style, which means big platters put out at three different stages of the meal. We also got to drink package to include soft drinks, beer, and wine. They were not stingy! The person I worked with to reserve the room, Noel, was really patient and understanding even when I made last-minute changes.

Recommend making a reservation. This place is always packed. The bar is a great waiting area if you get there a little bit early than your reservation and the customer service here was fantastic not to mention the food which was amazing. I could barely breath after eating here because I was so full, keep in mind it is a lot of food. Love Carmine's
