Let me explain my rating at length: the food here isn't gourmet quality but it can be much better than the typical neighborhood Chinese fast-food joint if you know what to do: specifically, always order curry for your sauce, as this comes from a store-bought container and not something they whip up themselves: thus ensuring great taste that rivals authentic Indo-Pak fare! Plus, add one or two packets of soy sauce with heaps of the chili oil hot sauce on the table (in the condiment caddy) to their hot and sour soup. Their egg drop soup is fine as-is, along with their shrimp toast, though this can be a bit over-fried, often...but the prices are good, and sometimes the lady's lovely daughters (yes, both of them!) are on hand to provide, shall we say, a nice ambience...!

A very good takeout with some surprising special dishes. My favorite are the guk (as in "look") cha siu bao (baked roast pork buns) that have plenty of filling and great sauce; and what they call "dim sum" (really big siu mai-like pork dumplings without the shrimp) -- delicious. And don't miss their moist, yet crispy, spicy hunan duck. Also, well-prepared diet dishes that they'll cook to your specificafions. But all the dishes are good -- never too oily or over-cooked. Family owned for many years (maybe decades).
