I bet everything on the menu would impress you. Especially the sauce in the dishes has a very high end flavor profile, very different from the normal Chinese takeout. However it aren't cheap. But is it worth the price? Absolutely no!

My wife and I dined last night at Decoy Restaurant, which was packed. When we were finally seated, we tried the two booths on either side of the front door. Both were so very cold and drafty that is was impossible to enjoy the meal. On the plus side my sea bass was perfect. Mrs. Sterling enjoyed her duck though she felt the Peking duck midtown was better. Our waiter was attentive and efficient. Unfortunately the Maître d’ could not have been more indifferent and unhelpful.

Food is extremely good, one of my favorite in NYC But one unsavory incident - I had a $50 charge for a no-show after our dinner, with no notification from the restaurant. The policy of being charged if you don't turn up is a good policy! And so this sort of behavior is generally toxic, making it difficult for restaurants to ask for card details ahead of time, because people can't trust whether restaurants will use those details responsibly. Amex refunded the charge and I had an apologetic voicemail from Craig at Decoy, though nothing to suggest it's less likely to happen in the future.

Little place with GIANT good food! Recommended for Peking Duck lovers. Order the Rib Eye which is an extra entree: amazing. Reservations needed!

One of the best Peking Duck places in the city. Definitely need to make reservations for larger groups, but there were only two of us so we got there early and got seats at the bar. If you show up later, it might be good to reserve a duck. We also got the oxtail dumplings and the truffle fried rice. The oxtail dumplings were extremely delicious and worth it. The truffle fried rice was good but probably not worth $28.
