"We went here for a celebratory dinner for my mom's birthday. I had visited the one in Las Vegas, and fell in love with their lasagna. The service was wonderful, even though they were packed. The food is beyond delicious. Everything is served family style and so we decided to try a few of their select dishes, including the lasagna. The ambiance of the restaurant is really special as well. They have pictures of patrons, I'm guessing, including some famous people that have frequented the restaurant over the years. I also love the chandeliers in the bar area. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you are in the city, and make sure to make a reservation because this place is popular and is always busy."

I loved this place. The food, staff and service was excellent. This was my first time coming here and although it was very crowded, I soon found out why. The staff appeared to really enjoy what they did here. They worked together when they needed to and independently, they took care of everyone they were assigned to. They catered to their individual customers to make them feel like each person was the only person their only concern. The serving size that was received for the amount of money paid was not comparable. I definitely plan to come back again soon.

I visited to celebrate my son's graduation - we were a party of 12. Appetizers were delicious, food was great. Dessert was a shame- they really need to revisit their recipes. Mostly pastry cream. (Go to Ben & Jerrys nearby instead). We were seated in a round table that fit us all comfortably. Overall good time with family and friends. For 12 people we paid about $450. Carmines is a good choice if you have a large group. But remember to skip the dessert and make reservations!

Family style eating (huge portions that serve 3-6 people) in a great atmosphere for visiting with friends and family. Can be very affordable if you don’t let your eyes be bigger than your stomach. Staff is fabulous and very attentive and every dish was delicious! Great location for tourists or those out seeing a show on Broadway—right off of Times Square and easy to locate. Highly recommend!

Service was amazing. Very helpful. Were there when we needed something then gone. No rush they paste the meal perfect. Mussels were incredible. We also had clams on the half shell. They came out very cold. Chilled on ice with horse radish and cocktail sauce and plenty of lemon wedges. We then had the seafood with whole lobster over pasta. The sauce was to die for. Ended the meal with double shot of espresso. Great meal I will be back...
