Table of 7 in a booth for 6 for Mother's Day. Service good once we went to the bar and asked for help. Two veggie burgers cooked until they were hard. Prime rib was more like steak. Women's bathroom very nasty. Love all of Sam's places but BC was off today.

I ordered a beer and a pizza (with one addition). I was shocked by the prizes on the menu. Very expensive... The beer came quickly but the pizza took its time. When it finally was there, the addition (mushrooms) was missing. They immediately offered to still add them but in my opinion that's not how creating a pizza works. The outside crust of the pizza was a little too burned. I found the pizza okay. If this is the best pizza in Ohio, the people from Ohio are in for a treat in almost any given pizzeria in Europe... Rob, my waiter was very kind and helpful. At the end they took the beer off the bill by their own initiative to make up. That was really nice and I appreciate this solution.

From the outside, another trendy bar/pub. From the inside, a (curiously authentic) European-styled brasserie. From the first bite, a taste treat of perfectly prepared Continental-transAmerican fusion cuisine. This is another, but particularly bright, star in the glowing constellation that is Cleveland's food scene. It's a place you need to visit, again or for the first time.

I ordered a pizza for pick-up because they cook/serve late night. I go and pick it up and ask for a glass of wine, immediately noticing that i don't want one, it's dead, she is closing and there is no one there besides the bar maid and a cop. She says no, offer's me water, twice, weird. I said no, and in the midst of ringing up my pizza, asks again. Weird. I had already decided I was not going have a glass before she said no upon viewing the atmosphere. They were obviously closing. I didn't tip; I was taking the pizza to go. Then, as I am getting in the car, the cop calls to me, approaches me and grills me asking if I had been drinking etc. Really? It seemed to me that she was pissed I didn't tip her and sent him after me. Another time, I sat at the bar w/a gay friend of mine and when I asked a guy if he was a gay, a chic (turned out to be a bartender there) starting screaming at me, accusing me of being against gays etc. We had quite an extensive tab ($80) and the bartender told us to leave that "our kind were not wanted." ? Bob and I walked across the street and found out they own the Market Brewery and were "warned, told not let us in." So, I don't want to give them any business anymore. I have twice now been accused and harassed by untruths. Enough. That is not a good time to me.
