Service was great, food was good, free chips and salsa/cheese dip were pretty standard for this type of sit-down style Mexican restaurant. No problems there. My burrito was huge and, with beans and cheese, covered the whole plate. The reason I'm giving this three stars instead of five is that I just don't see how they can justify nearly an entire menu of $10+ entrees ($12+ for the burrito in the pic) when so many other Mexican restaurants offer the same fare for significantly less. This is not fast-casual or hole-in-the-wall, so not expecting $6 entrees, but still this is overpriced. I recommend if you don't care about your precious $$$.

Some of the best tacos in Oklahoma city. The pastor are particularly good. This wonderful little place has been here forever, and the various pieces of western, classic film, and 1940s art are holdovers from whatever was on this building before Abel's was here. They've faithfully preserved them. They'll get to know you pretty quickly if you're a regular and will make you feel welcome. For something sweet, try the flan.

Great food, good service. A little pricey, but carne asada and pastor tacos were outstanding.

Best mid-teir Mexican food in town. The tortillas are flavorful and the salsa bar is a great addition. My personal favorite dish is the steak tips with an egg on top.
