Best Asian food in Oregon! Service is unbeatable. The chefs listen to what you want. Thai hot? You got it. Mild. They'll do that too without sacrificing flavor. There are three big screens in the bar to watch games or other such events. And they are kind to the homeless population in the area - that speaks to me. Thank you.

We were looking for a very last-minute reservation for 16 (mostly teenagers and three adults) on a Friday night. We were celebrating Chinese New Year and it felt like everyone else was too. Duck House was so accommodating, which was a change from two other restaurants who were no help and had no suggestions of where I could try to get a reservation. They got us in at 4 and even sent me photos of the menu so we could look at them ahead of time. The service was fast and friendly. There were six of us that ordered together and it was all really good — here are some highlights: 1) The Pork Soup dumplings were so delicious! 2) My picky eight-year-old son ate almost the whole dish of Orange Chicken. We barely got a taste. 3) The Beef Roll was really good. How can you not love Green Onion Pancakes?! Paying with such large group, especially when it contains mostly teenagers, can be a challenge. But they were efficient and sorting it out. I will definitely return.

Very good spot for chinese food. The prices for dinner are a little high in my opinion, but the lunch specials are very reasonably priced and generous in portions. My Mongolian chicken was very flavorful and tasted fresh, and the hot and sour soup was excellent. The atmosphere is loud, but that's not the fault of the restaurant; it's just packed during lunch hour. Expect to wait 10 or so minutes to be seated. The one caviat to the experience is the service. I saw my waiter once in the 35 minutes I was seated and eating after taking my order, and it was at the very end when I preparing to leave. He ignored or missed the three or four times I tried to flag him down for water and more soup before that, despite walking right past my table at least six times. Overall, it was great food and I'll be going back. Expect excellent food, but be prepared to be ignored beyond having your order taken. Edit: After visiting a few more times, I'm increasing my review from four to five stars. The service had been great since my first experience, and the food has been consistently excellent. I would still expect slow services during their busiest times, but it's otherwise great.

I agree with most of the reviews here the food is REALLY good, especially the soup dumplings and wantons in chili oil (not that spicy). However, it is a little pricey and their popularity means they are busy and need to step up their game when it comes to efficient seating, ordering, food delivery and checking for satisfaction. Perhaps hire an experienced restaurant manager to oversee the flow from greeting to check out. I took a group of coworkers for lunch during Chinese New Year. We definitely did not get the same service as the large group of elderly Chinese folks seated next to us. We have to waive down the waitress when the fourth order of dumplings passed us and went to them instead. I have no doubt the are cooking as fast a possible but she should have noticed we were still waiting on our first two orders. We were also handed a dish that was meant for another table and she walked away before we could tell her is wan't ours. The egg-drop soup has NO flavor, go for the hot and sour or skip soup.

Food ranges from ok to great. It's really by the dish whether it's just average or amazing. Getting seated took 15-20 minutes. Tables were open, but it took them a long time to clear them after the preceding guests. The table service was alright. This place has potential if they improve a few things.
